FOR GROWN-UPS
Terms of Service
Last updated October 20, 2026
These Terms govern Small Mighty Words, including our website, game and related services, operated by Storyfaire LLC. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
Adult accounts and players
Account holders must be adults who can enter into this agreement. If you create a player profile for a child, you must be their parent, legal guardian or an adult authorized to manage their use. Supervise play and purchases, use an appropriate nickname and keep account credentials and the parent PIN private.
You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Contact support@storyfaire.com if you suspect unauthorized access. A parent PIN protects the grown-up area on a device; it is separate from your account password.
Free and paid content
Free accounts include the first 10 words in Paris. Other content may require an unlock or purchase. Where purchases are available, the checkout or app store shows the applicable price, taxes, included content and payment terms before you pay.
The all-cities bundle, when offered, includes the 15 cities identified in that offer. It does not include future episodes, future cities, merchandise or other future releases unless the offer expressly says so. Coming Soon content is not a promise of a release date.
Purchase restoration depends on the store and account used for the purchase. Refund requests are subject to the applicable store or payment-provider process and your statutory rights. Closing an SMW account does not automatically request a refund or cancel a separately managed store subscription. Nothing in these Terms limits a refund or other remedy you are entitled to by law.
Progress, rewards and availability
Points, streak bonuses and earned unlocks are game features, not money or transferable property. Referral rewards, when available, follow the program’s displayed rules. We may reject fraudulent, duplicate or manipulated claims.
We work to save progress reliably, but connectivity problems, device storage limits and clearing browser data can interrupt synchronization. Keep unsynced progress on your device until it has been saved to your account. Features may differ across platforms or be unavailable during maintenance.
Using Small Mighty Words
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive right to use the service and content you can access for its intended educational and entertainment purposes. Storyfaire LLC and its licensors retain rights in the game, characters, artwork, videos, music, software and branding.
Do not redistribute or sell our content, copy the service for commercial use, bypass access controls, manipulate scores or referrals, access another family’s information, disrupt the service or use it unlawfully. These restrictions do not remove rights that applicable law gives you.
Your information and communications
Our Privacy Policy explains how parent and player information is handled. You authorize us to store and process account and gameplay information to provide the service. Creating a free account also includes SMW game news and goodies by email, as disclosed at signup. You can unsubscribe from marketing without losing your account.
Learning reports describe recorded game activity. They are not a medical, developmental or educational diagnosis, and we do not guarantee a particular learning outcome.
Closing or suspending an account
You can request account deletion in account settings. An email confirmation starts a 30-day cancellation window. After that window, the family account and associated cloud player data are removed according to our Privacy Policy. Contact support for help or a separate player-data request.
We may restrict or suspend access to address fraud, security risks, unlawful activity or material violations of these Terms. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and give you a way to contact us. Any required refunds and consumer rights remain unaffected.
Service changes and responsibility
We may correct errors, update lessons and improve or change features. We will give notice of material changes where required by law. Except for commitments we expressly make and protections required by law, the service is provided as available without a promise that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the extent permitted by law, Storyfaire LLC is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. This does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud, intentional wrongdoing or other mandatory consumer protections.
Disputes, updates and contact
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a problem. These Terms are governed by Oregon law, except where mandatory laws where you live provide additional protections. Nothing here removes your right to bring a claim in a court or forum available under applicable law.
We may update these Terms and will provide notice of material changes where required. Contact Storyfaire LLC at support@storyfaire.com with “Small Mighty Words” in the subject.
